Snapped another axle shaft at the Spline. Who manufactured these? Is there a JEEP interchange ? Aftermarket/ performance replacement? Snapped one 10 years ago & couldn't find one in junkyard; was able to weld the old one. It's still working.

hi try ebay, a couple of years ago i got lucky and found one
also post in wanted section and/or try the Eagles den site.

The shaft and bearing retainer is hiding behind the brakes. Remove the bolts, pull the retainer and I believe the shaft pulls straight out.

4 bolts, e brake cable unscrew brake line including and it all comes out as 1 piece including brake plate.
