The 2024 Las Vegas AMC Reunion is on. The show is going to be held on November 8-9 at Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino (www.railroadpass.com) and Holiday Inn Express & Suites. We will have rooms blocked both at Railroad Pass and Holiday Inn Express & Suites. Railroad Pass Hotel is now a Ramada by Wyndham and features beautifully renovated rooms. Holiday Inn Express (https://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpress/hotels/us/en/henderson/lashd/hoteldetail) is less than two years old and very nice. The Bullet Train Restaurant (http://www.bullettrainlv.com) is close to being completed and will be open by show time. We are still waiting for the contracts from the host hotels with the room rates. Due to this, the show flyer has been delayed. We hope to have it available very soon. The Friday tour will be to Eldorado Canyon and the Techatticup Mine. For details: https://travelnevada.com/mines-prospecting/techatticup-mine/. If you’ve never been there, it’s very cool. Well worth the trip. The Friday FREE BBQ will again be at Bicentennial Park, one of the largest and nicest parks in Boulder City. The park features plenty of parking for our cars, a gazebo, clean restrooms and playground for the kids. We will also have use of the grill and picnic tables. We have the park from 1-6. If you decide not to go to the goldmine, you certainly can go to the park. The BBQ starts at 2pm. The car show/swap meet will be on November 9th from 9am-3pm. Full itinerary for day of show TBA. For more information, contact club President Dion Stams (dionstams@sprintmail.com) or 702-688-2073).

I added this one to the "master list" a little while ago. I'd like to get to this show one year, who knows, maybe this is the year.

Express & Suites. We will have rooms blocked both at Railroad Pass and

November 9th from 9am-3pm. Full itinerary for day of show TBA. With the new owners having taken over and pouring alot of money into
making major improvements, it's very important that we have a strong
showing this year so they'll welcome us back next year. Now that you have the flyer and registration form, please register and
reserve your hotel rooms ASAP. Thank you and we look forward to seeing
you in November!

always a good show put on by the lv folks.
if you're thinking about going this ought to be "your year," as it's possible this could be this show's last year! you never know! i see this post needs an explanation, but it's something that many of you are aware of. one, we're aging. the lv group is getting older, like everyone else and there's no guarantee that the board will be able to hold such a show in the future. show organizers move away, get sick, lack motivation, or pass. it will happen to us all. my opinion: get to this year's show before you/they can't.

Hey Mark, what's the trailer parking situation for those of us that might be coming a long ways?

On the menu for the BBQ this year:
1/3lb 80/20 burgers with ALL the fixin's bacon wrapped smoked sausages marinated teriyaki chicken breasts with grilled pineapple potato/macaroni salads and coleslaw chips and sweets water and soda BYOB, but I MIGHT have a few extra grownup beverages for sharing. ;) LOTS of fellowship with old car friends in a beautiful park. A reminder that this BBQ is absolutely FREE for all participants of the show courtesy of SNAMC! |
