Second photo has the small filler piece installed in the middle. As I said, the only way I could get both sides right is to cut it up the middle. I also had to elongate some of the holes.

I just recieved my new door tag from ECS. I explained that I lost the pic I had of it. I did write the info down. The build date was Sept 1969. Is this date format correct?
 I compared the Fonts and it's dead on of my other AMX but its date Mar 1970. |

On my original the date and VIN were a medium grey and not so black. I believe my repro was also grey.

Yeah, I wish AMark still was able to make them. I know he is spot on with his items. I wish I thought ahead when that all happened with him, I would of got them then. ECS, Tom Barcroft was awesome. Very helpful and good customer service. He was sure SEPT. was like this. I know I have the pic of it but just can't think were.

 Date and Vin numbers should be typed onto the printed decal in a smaller, different font in light black or possibly grey. Date is usually something like 6-70, not June 1970...

Might there be different ways, maybe by year. The original tag on my other AMX is spelled out.
 This door tag looks original and has been taped off in the past for paint. Though I can't find my original pic I wrote it down the same way. I'll do another search on this. Thanks for the feedback. |

Thanks guys.Appreciate all the help on the door sticker plus everything else.
Tore down my evaporator today. Cleaning and preparing it for new foam. Detroit Mucusle's package came in today. WOW! I did a Cheers string on them but what customer service and support. Just got the Free replacement piece that I messed up in and it's the whole sheet. Again I can't say enough about this company. Wish he had more items for AMC that I could buy and support this excellant customer service company. |
