I have a 1974 AMX. The Driver and Passenger side windows go up and Down, but there is some stuttering and alignment issues. I would like to try and Repair myself. As a novice, I could use some advise. How do the door panels come off? Are they just mounted using Pop in clips? If anybody has some directions or Pictures on doing this, I would feel more Comfortable Attempting. Thanks For any Help!

Some pop in clips,  most of whatever else holds it on is in plane sight,  allen bolts holding the window winder,  screws from underneath the arm rest,  maybe screws holding the bottom of the panel.

But you really need the TSM for your car,  diagnosing the problems inside that door and adjusting the window will make removing the inner panel seem easy.
