68 wheels didn't have the trim ring. Trim rings didn't come out till 69.
The particular wheels that I'm looking at are 68's. But, they will need center caps.

68's are all chrome. As long as you're not going for 100% stock with 14" wheels and GoodYear redlines you'd probably be better off buying the new chrome repops from Wheel Vintiques. Better yet, get the 15" versions and you'll have a whole lot more choices in tires.
Long time AMC fan. Ambassador 343, AMX 390, Hornet 360, Spirit 304 and Javelin 390. All but javelin bought new.

I think I have one 1968 chrome wheel.

wheels america will do them for about 100 each.. i shipped 4 rims to a member last year and the shipping was only 75 dollars for all 4
