Hey guys, I have this carb on my 327... Looking into it, it now seems that it's not the right carb and was for a 287.

The numbers are: R 3218 A

Any thoughts?  Is this carb even worth rebuilding or should I just upgrade?

Any input would be appreciated, if you guys could point me in the right direction of a proper rebuild kit, or if the proper 327 carb would fit on this intake manifold?

Thanks guys

Can you post another pic where we can see the entire carb?

I'm not sure but it looks like someone was trying to save fuel.

I believe it's still a 2 barrel.  Not much fuel to be saved there really.

Is there another carb that I can look for that can be put on this manifold?  Possibly a carb that is already rebuilt?

I thought I saw two barrels when looking down the carb, but that doesn't make sense looking at these other carbs.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a rebuild kit or already rebuilt carb that will fit this manifold?

A holley 2300 should fit, I have them on both of my 2bbl manifolds, but to be honest if you can find a 4bbl manifold go for it. It makes a huge difference in fuel consumption and more power if you need it. I might be wrong but I think the carb you have is a 2209.

Ditto on the four barrel manifold and 4150 Holley. My car was ordered with the 2bb - I drove it for years that way, and finally relinquished on putting the 4 bbl on it. It is SUCH a happier engine. Better milage and more power when needed.

That is a 2bbl but it certainly does not look like the Holly that was on my Dad's '63 660 with a V8.
