I use the VR1 10/30 as mentioned but noticed the price is gone up to around 45 bucks a case of 6. I recently went to the Chevron/Havoline ProDS full synthetic 5/20 for my Corvette and Toyota cars and I like the fact it comes in a convenient 6 quart box and is only 20 bucks at walmart. I think the next change on the AMC will be this and add a bottle of the Rislone Zinc supplement and still be at 30 bucks a change

...hence why I use the Rotella T4 10w-30 most of the time.
-High ZDDP. -The viscosity I want. -Quality oil. -Commonly available. and -Often on sale $12 for a gallon jug. I like $20 oil changes. Most places only stock the 15w-40 T4 but will order the 10w-30 on request. |

My 401 has-been freshly rebuilt and has approximately 300 miles on it. Just changed the oil for the first time. Put in Castrol 10/30. I ordered a zinc additive to add. Link is here:
