I have a 1965 Rambler Marlin Fastback and was wanting to know what to use to clean the washer bag with. I need to get it softened up as well. Any help will be appreciated, and thanks.

To clean it you can use mineral spirits on the outside. Softening it is a problem. Mineral oil or some leather softeners can be worked in but they may also remove the label.
Aftermarkets exist at the usual vendors, you will have to look to see if these 66 ones listed will fit your 65:

A good friend of mine has developed a cleaning and softening mixture that works really good and softens as well, I used it on some coil spring isolators and it cleaned and soften them beyond my expectations, so with that said here's what worked. I bought POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser and used a 4 to 1 mix with hot water ( this is done with water from the tap ) this not only cleaned but softened, I let it soak in a plastic container for  1 day and checked my progress, so you leave it in for as long as needed. Another option I have used is hand cleaner like something with pumice to scrub , GO-JO type.

POR-15 cleaner is acetone based. You would have to be very careful on which plastic and how long for exposure time. The other problem with acetone is since it is miscible and an oil solvent it strips oil bases out of some softer plastics. In other words they come clean but age/harden it even faster.

I just did a check on the contents of the POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser...there is no Acetone...according to the manufactures label of contents : Water, Potassium Hydroxide, Butyl Cellosolve, Ethoxylated Undecyl Alcohol. I know that POR -15 has renamed this cleaner as it used to be Marine Cleaner, maybe when they did that they reformulated the product to be less harmful

I've used 409 spray cleaner to clean the grunge off the washer bag. Then repeated spraying with ArmorAll or a similar vinyl protectant, it takes a while, but after 2-3 soakings, it will soften up some. New washer bags are available also as others have posted. My problem is finding a replacement electric washer pump. Angry

Some of the Jeep crowd have bought these:
https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/aci-windshield-washer-pump-174347/18910000-P
Don't know if it would fit the grommet, but for $16, might be worth a try.
Also found this one:

Looks close but wrong year listed.
