This professional (retired) "aluminum man", who lives close to me, has done almost everything that can be made of aluminium... I asked if he could cast some gasser wheels or AMC blower intake... No problem! Only if I can fabricate a suitable pattern for him... I have known him over 25 years, but never before asked him to do something for me and my projects! What a fool I´ve been! Have to go to my garage and hit my head with sledgehammer!! Twice!! |

It is very nice looking indeed. It does sadly show why it was never popular for AMC in that they end up thick, expensive to machine and very heavy. I think the last one I saw was 17lbs.
