Sone have stated it's the same as the brake line clip. Not sure, but you can check if they fit, if you have an extra laying around.

Should be available at the "HELP" parts of most any auto parts store, they are generic enough to fit any 60's-90's GM product for door lock or trunk lock cylinders. Too bad most of the junkyards are now "recycling centers" and won't let anyone in with a tool box.

Not the same as the brake line clip- much larger. But it should be generic as said.

I GOT THE TANG FROM ROSS PETERSON BUT IT STILL DOES NOT SEEM TO WORK WELL.  ACTUALLY JUST HOLDING THE LOCK CYLINDER IN AND TURNING IT, IT DOES NOT FEEL LIKE IT WILL UNLOCK THE DECK LOCK.

I'M CONCERNED THAT IF I CLIP IN THE LOCK CYLINDER I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UNLOCK THE DECK..

I think it may have been straightened? I think mine is slightly curved to keep force between lock and trunk lid. I think I can remove mine to show you. It's been a bit since I removed mine, and reinstalled.

Ross may have a picture of a good clip, if he has another.

I will check tomorrow when I go in the garage.

Correct.  I adjusted mine recently and it needed to be slightly crimped together on the ends of the "U."  Works perfectly after the adjustment.
