These heads are sized and ported for a 366 CI with a 4.125 bore. You can see in the picture there is cast witness marks on the roof, floor and bowel area which shows these heads are far from max valve size or runner size. The runners are currently 225 CC, Chamber 62 CC and MAX. Flow is 322 CFM with a 2.055 Int. The inlet to the runner is kept to the cast size on the top and bottom which is around the stock steel gasket size. This gives us the velocity we need for the engine builds RPM range, you can see there is no push rod pinch. I have attached some before and after pictures. I.M.O. after AMC dialed in on what they wanted they cast the heads to minimize porting. The OEM iron heads ported are at 181CC these AMC Trapezoid heads are right with Fords raised port heads with chamber size runner size and valve size. It would be nice if Eddy cast a similar head for AMC with the modern chamber etc. It is hard to keep up with the others when they have the right parts available. I forgot to mention the exhaust flowed so well on the Trapezoid head we only need 1.62 valves.
