    Posted: Jan/04/2012 at 7:24pm

Announcing the dates for the 2012 Las Vegas AMC Reunion.  The show will be held on November 2-3 at the Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino (www.railroadpass.com) in Henderson, NV.   If you're a forum member coming in for SEMA (I know there are several), think about hanging around through Saturday and come to the show.

The Friday schedule of events will start with a tour or cruise followed by our now famous BBQ at Veteran's Memorial Park.  The car show and swap meet is on Saturday.

As more details on both the show and Friday schedule of events become available, I will post them on the forum.

November will be here before we know it and we are working hard on the 2012 show.  For those of you coming in from out of state, plan on arriving at Railroad Pass by 10:30am on Friday, November 2nd.  Due to popular demand, we are once again boarding the paddlewheel vessel of Lake Mead Cruises, the Desert Princess.  The Desert Princess is beautiful, roomy and comfortable and was built especially to cruise the clean, blue waters of picturesque Lake Mead.  You will enjoy a combination of spectacular scenery, good food and an "Outrageously Great Tour" aboard the Desert Princess.  The cost per person is $18.75 (payable at check in, PLEASE DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE).  Our group must be at the dock and check in NO LATER THAN 11:15am for a 12 noon departure.  Also, you will need to pay a $10 per car entrance fee (non-negotiable) for the Lake Mead Recreation Area.  For more details on the cruise and the Desert Princess, visit www.lakemeadcruises.com.   Following the cruise (starting around 3:30pm), we are hosting our absolutely awesome bar-be-que for all show participants and invited guests at beautiful Veteran's Memorial Park in Boulder City.  Once again, Andy Ray (raysinvegas) will serve as host and chef.

We are aware that many of you will be attending the AMCRC national convention at the end of this month in Reno and, for some of you, that will be it for the year.  Keep in mind our show is over four months past that and one last chance to show off your beautiful cars for the year.

Also, if you're a forum member coming in for SEMA, plan on hanging around for a couple more days and check out our show.  We love meeting fellow AMC owners from other parts of the country.

Don't worry...us socal guys will be there......I'm concerned about the possibility of rain on cajon pass. It's quite dangerous up or down that pass in an old car when it rains, like it did last year.  I'll wait until Andy gazes into his crystal ball a week before the event and assures us all.

This is such a great show, but we may have to pass this year.  Coordinating days off to get a chunk of time to visit the relatives at Christmas has to come first.
