No....it will hit the front of the wheel well....I have a BFG Drag Radial on my 70 AMX and the original owner had to adjust the metal and remove the rocker panel molding

I have had them on for almost 20 years....It doesn't race anymore.....they are the 275/60-15 on a 15 x 7 Ford Full Chrome Magnum 500.
Hope this helps.

Been wondering the same here. Got 255 60 15 Mickey Thompson Street SS radials on my '69 AMX. They're 27.1" in diameter and I can't get my thumb in between the tire and lower front edge of the wheel arch. -Steve- |

Rebel Machine did you notice any marks on the tire..from bumps or w/...the 27X HOOSIER QUICK is listed as 27.0 on their spec sheet....i'm about to buy e'm the 50 series i have on say 25.7 that would be around 5/8 on each side bigger which would leave around 7/8 about the size of the tip of my thumb..so yep..

Don't have the 27" Hoosiers. No marks on tire, found a few paint wipes on the driver's side wheel arch but not on the passenger side. Weird. Just ordered a set of same sized Mickey Thompson ET Street R Radials. There's a streetcar race at Eddyville Iowa on the 15th I want to enter. -Steve- |
