As with ANY timing set, verify oil passages are clean of flash, and in correct location.

I will recommend the rollmaster as well. I had no issues on my last build using one.

Just pick the least expensive one and correct the oil passages to make it work.  Rollmaster's aint what they used to be.  Even they have to be corrected to match up with your cam.

Unless they changed drastically, rollmaster doesn't have a notch like others, it has a recess that is 360 degrees.

Does anyone know why Melling would offer a 5/8” and a 3/4” timing chain, what’s the difference? Besides a 1/4”.

I saw that once in a parts list, tried to run down what was going on, drew a blank.  I'd like to know also.  Ross?
