Congrats ? was it fun ? are you hooked ?
It's nice not to have to look over your shoulder for "the man" aint it.
 
Part number for the Carter "Super Street" pump is M6906.
About $70 + ship from Jegs or Summit.
RobbMC sells an even better pump, don't know price.
An old racers trick is to tie a wrag around the pump and soak with water
to keep it cooler and help to prevent vapor lock.
Has the dizzy been re-curved to allow ~36 total advance by about 2500-3000 ?

well it was my first time remember         posi launching at 2000-25000 best reaction time was .021 launched at 3000 no stall all stock drive train except gears no line lock just foot breaking

have not done anyting with dist YES WAS A BLAST  could be hooked  have a lot of room for improvement slicks hooked good but are a harder compound will try softer ones next time

have not been back yet to many other things going on right now am trying to go on the 26th my son-in law got his big block dodge truck done so there might be  a grudge race between us   LOL

we have an update   just got back from the track    best time 8.945  78.04mph  could not foot break it kept wanting to slide the tires  caused a red light 60 foot times 2.04-2.07

Hate to say it, but for the gears you're running the short times are in the toilet. You need to get a good converter.

i agree   or shorter tires these are 28x10   but this was the last race this year over winter have upgrades planned   Wink  i was coming off the line at 1200

Are you having some issue with your brakes? You shouldn't be slipping/redlighting.

I'd guess that 401 with stock converter is "skooting" the front tires  Shocked
