These cars I believe are the same cars, although they have nothing to do with the TEAM car.. Raced by Stephen Shepard

Team Highball used to have their own website and I think I remember seeing the half blue half red AMX there... as a member of the team of AMC road racing cars.
-From what I could tell Team Highball simply kept moving up to newer cars and was actively racing a white AMC Spirit ...the last time I took notice of their activity Sadly no historians seem to connect Gremlin to AMX but apparently focus on road racing AMX two seater migrated to same wheelbase Gremlin... and the inline six Gremlins began to win races (perhaps for the greater durability of the '64-up AM inline six engine?) And if I remember correctly, Team Highball website honored the half blue and half red AMX as a road race legend and raised it's maintenance level back up? to what should be appropriate for a true historical race car.
-hope it helps you to find more info on the car- credit to preceding pic: https://www.facebook.com/pg/TeamHighballRacing/photos/ IMO, they never got the two seater AMX fully sorted out on the road race tracks before it was time to promote the next new styled cars at AMC... Thanks for the reply and the Gremlin info.
Here is the link to Stephen Shepards page where I got the pics from, he raced AMC's & Renault's for quite awhile, sounds like he may still have some of his race care... https://ncrscca.com/member_profile/stephen-shepherd/

Yep, breezing through the link you posted, I think he sold this particular AMX and someone on Team Highball owned it for a while... not exactly sure/might be wrong or confused/always enjoy talking about the famous AMC race cars though...

I may be wrong, but aren't you talking about the half red/half blue "BP" AMX
that was at Gettysburg AMO show? That car is owned by Mike? Weaver from Joppa or Joppatowne Maryland.

Anybody have a picture of the engine or the interior of the #6 TEAM Car? Trying to figure out if the eng compartment and interior were grey or white? This shot the interior appears to be grey..

The BP 60 employee raced AMX was stripped and scrapped. It's history.
