Where can you buy a AMC Bearing retainer for a 1969 and earlier T10?

Did you put the wrong size clutch release bearing on it and shatter the retainer like I did to my pre-1969 T-10?

Been there, done that.

No, Mine is cracked. I have been reading about a steel retainer but have not found any except the APD 195.00 WOW.

Larry,

I have made these out of steel for my own use and it takes a very large piece of steel and a ton of machine time......the billet starts at the size of the largest diameter......the originals were made from Cast Iron, that is why they are a bit fragile and are machined from the rough casting, very inexpensive processes.
