Hi Tom
You are correct, there were only 2 fiberglass nose's, hood's and rear wing's made from the orig. molds. One set is on Bruces's car, and the other set is on my car.  Yes that is my car in the bottom picture and it is the AMX that Breedlove ran at Bonniville, and yes those are stock fenders.

Another interesting fact (at least to me) is that Bruce bought his SS/AMX from my fathers dealership in Inglewood CA. The car was originally called "Trippin The Lights Fantastic". Later on Bruce changed it to "The Sheriff Of Nottingham". My fathers dealership was alocated a total of 3 SS/AMX's. One was sold to Bruce, one was sold to an AMC dealer in Northern CA.  that could not get one from AMC. That car was turned into a wheel stander. We raced the third SS/AMX under the name "The Big Menace".

Hi Eric
Have you talked to Bruce lately? I just talked to him a couple of weeks ago. I can't, or probably shouldn't say too much but he was telling me about some tentive plans he may have for the "Sherrif".
Cool

My project is on hold for now, again.  Unhappy If it's not one thing it's another. Early in the year I put the project on hold to do a lot of (major) work on my house. I finished up most everything on the house and just got back to working on the SS/AMX project when the next obstacle came up. Unhappy
Edelbrock needs to finish up some EFI calibration work on the chassis dyno with the 401 that was built for dyno testing. So I put my project on hold again and installed the test engine. After that is done (hopefully by the end of the year) the car will come home, engine & trans pulled out and then off to the body shop for some very minor body work and to be painted (AMC theme) red, white and blue. Then the fun begins of putting the puzzle back together. Confused
