After tuning on the car this evening I decided to take it for a spin, about three miles from home it started raising cane and felt like it was missing on about half the cylinders. Being the oil pressure and temp were normal I limped home figuring it was a rocker problem. Sure enough the exhaust rocker on number three cylinder had lost the roller tip and the lash cap was wedged in it's place (fortunately I suppose, otherwise it may have beat out the keepers) anyway it did give the TI retainer a fit, and when I pryed out the lash cap a section of the rocker fell off. Now I start taking the other rockers off and inspecting them with a magnifying glass, yep, eight more showed cracks starting at the roller pin holes. The geometry is correct, piston to valve is plenty adequate, only 650# open spring pressure and they vary between intake & exhaust?

Call Jesel.  They had a problem like that in the past.  The rockers were cracking while sitting on the shelf.  Happened to a friend twice and Jesel replaced all of them both times for free.  How old are those?  This happened to my friend probably two years ago.

I shouldn't have sold my T&D, but Barry told me these Jesel's were 1.7 ratio, NOT. They've got me in more trouble than you can shake a stick at.

Get on the phone with them. They dont build junk 24/7 and they have been around a long time. I have seen the same thing happen to other shaft rockers (that wont be named). Its not uncommon but it is frusterating.
Help people, be joyous and friendly and enjoy beer....even if its imported!

Don't be too sure Pappy, I believe this hobby is simply a test of will. Besides, I'm sure I'll find the boiling point of something down the line if I get it to hook up.
