What year did Eagle go to a shift on the fly 4 wheel drive? I am looking for an Eagle wagon for my DD and want one that will do 2 wheel drive when 4 wheel isn't needed.

Thanks!

Appears to be 1982 or so.

Edit:
If Wikipedia is correct, the switch was added mid-year during the 1981 model year.

It drives in 2WD ,shift on the fly means you don't have to stop engage 4WD.

You can also convert the vacuum axle to a Posi-lok cable.
