I see in the TSM that the OEM clutch for the '68 390 AMX was a Semi-centrifugal clutch.  I have 2 used clutch pressure plates; one an aftermarket high performance Zoom clutch and the other an OEM clutch out of a wrecked 68 AMX with fairly low miles as it was totaled in 1973.  My question is, does the oem clutch work as well as the high performance clutch?  I assume the spring pressure is higher in the aftermarket clutch as it does not have the semi-centrifugal feature (no rollers).  Do the rollers really add as much force to the plate as the heavier springs?
