Would seats out of a 1965 Rambler Classic work in a 1965 American? The seats in the Classic I'm looking at are nearly, if not identical to mine. I know some parts are cross compatible, just don't know if seats are one of them.

I put the individual reclining seats out of a 65 or 66 Ambassador into my 69 Rambler ( American) , so I don't see why you can't .

I think the Classics were a little wider than the Americans. Best to take measurements of both before you spend any money.

The body is wider, but the bucket seats are the same. Console was just a bit wider on the Classic. Bench seats are a different story.
