I have been scouring this site trying to find out which master cylinder upgrade i need for my 64 rambler classic. I am doing disk brakes all around and there are so many threads to look through. Please help if anyone knows!

You don't need to change it at all...just remove the residual pressure valve from the front brake outlet. If you want another MC any of the later AMC MCs with 1" bore and the outlets on the right side will do. If outlets are on the left toward the fender you will need a tight bend right out of the MC, which is hard to do.

Once again FARNA strikes back and saves the day! Thank you Farna! I will try to remove the residual pressure valve.

I am also starting to reinforce the rear subframe, and am having some weld burnthrough issues. Any setting info or any knowledge anyone can help me with? This will also help me finish all of the welding my car needs to franken-ramble it for good. I did keep all of the original parts, just in case. 196ci. I6, 2speed auto trans, power steering pump, rear axle, torque tube, 14" wheels with new tires, and some odds and ends. To keep or not to keep, that is the question

When welding heavy metal to thin concentrate your heat on the heavy and weave to the thin.
