Been awhile since last post, but have made some progress.

Over Thanksgiving I rolled it outside on the rotisserie and sandblasted underneath and inside floor.

I'm sure it seems like wrong order and you are probably right, but at first I was against sand blasting it at all.  Just seemed after doing some metal work underneath that it still needed blasting before paint, so did the job.  Now I'm wishing I would have started there...oh well.
Also, I was worried about removing the rear windshield because they are tough to come by.
My buddy Chris and I did get it out after reading online the procedure and didn't break it on the way out anyway.

Some of the hundreds of pin holes tig'd shut

blower motor delete for future Vintage AC

More deleted holes

Most of the tools we used.  I cut patches on the Beverly Shear while Chris TIG'd them in place

More progress last night.
I made an engine/tranny stand to roll under the rotisserie.
It worked great.

We rolled the rotisserie about 45 degrees to fit everything under.
Then used jacks on rotisserie to lower to see where it needed cut.

Mocked up the rack n pinion

Yeah, it needed clearance...

Moved shifter ahead one position (3") which seems good

cross member is inline with mount.  Anyone have an extra?

More progress.  The floor was made a year ago and finally welded in today.  Tubs welded in too.
Big Thanks to my Buddy Chris for all his help again today!

As a "Tip" for people using the wire feed, Chris read on another site that it works better to clip the end off your wire before each plug weld.  Its a little more work and time consuming, but with better results on the weld.
