Hello AMC Experts,

Is there a roller tipped rocker that will fit pedestal mount and below factory valve covers? The heads are late model 360 dog legs. Thanks.

Regards

Don

Harland Sharp makes a roller rocker that fits the bridged rocker head with no machine work.  Any individual rocker takes machine work and a guide plate to fit.

Someone here on the forum is/was a dealer and could get them for less than Summit.

Wow! Those are pricey. I think I will have the heads machined for screw in studs and guide plates. I guess I am lucky that the heads are off. Thanks for the infos!

If I remember correctly, the Harland Sharp stud mounted rockers fit under factory valve covers. I machined my heads for a set and have been running them for some time now. I have them under bigger aluminum valve covers, but I use a set of original covers with a center slot cut out for adjusting preload while the engine is running.

I use a set of Harland sharp on my 290 with a 540 lift cam under a set of old school edelbrock aluminum valve covers that are no taller than shock valve covers
