I'm looking at putting a full cage in my SX/4 but am unsure the best mounting points. This is being built to NHRA spec, the car will have no back seat. It won't be running fast enough to need
the full cage but figure it's only a few more welds and some extra
tubing.
I've seen some guys go above the rear spring perch and some to the wheel arch. Also I've seen fitting through the dash and some bent around. Is there a reason for one vs the other? or is this just builder preference? |
