what’s the difference and are the rocker arms themselves interchangeable?

I purchased a crown rocker arm set 3242393k for a 83 as well as a crown pushrod length set 3242395.
However, the pushrod set is about 3/16 to long . So that being said I’m now second guessing the rocker arm set. Mine to the left seems a bit wider and that has me confused . The motor is not the original nor does the previous owner know the exact year.

You may have a late model plastic valve cover/small head bolt era engine that the factory shaved about 80 pounds from.

7/16 head bolts with the long and short bolts combination. The valve cover is aluminum aftermarket . However, my pushrod length seems to be of the 77-80 models of 9.62. I ordered the 81-86 model rocker arm kit so gonna try the early model kit and see if that is more like the rocker arms I have. Any confirmation of my rocker arm year to the left is greatly appreciated

What do you know about the history of the motor?   The build date code stamped on the block near the distributor is pretty easy to decode.  Joe
