    Posted: Apr/27/2017 at 8:14am
When I tore into my 390, I found out why my dad stopped driving it 40 years ago. I discovered a bent pushrod and the rocker was damaged as a result.

I really just need ONE pushrod and rocker.

I considered getting a whole set, I looked into rollers and the options were confusing (guides, self-guiding...)

Where can I get just a single stock rocker and pushrod?

No harm for just replacing the one, right?

i could help you out with one rocker and pushrod....but it makes me wonder why it bent in the first place, not very common.

Can't tell you how it happened, I was 10 years old at the time...

The engine and heads (and transmission) have all been rebuilt now, need to reassemble the motor. I'll pm you re: details of getting those two things?

Thanks -

- Walter

Clarification - the lifter was collapsed - that left the pushrod flopping loosely. Now, why the lifter collapsed, I don't know.

I'm sure Ross can help, But I'd also send you a rocker/pushrod if needed. I have lots of used spares.
