Most any guy can be a Daddy. It takes a special kind of guy to be a Father. But it takes a really extra special man to take on the responsibilities of another man's family, and become their Father. It sounds as though you always knew that Dan.

Sounds like an awesome father, keep him in your heart, I am sure he is watching over. My sincerest condolences, he is in a better place and not unhealthy anymore.

Reading your intro , speaks volumes about your Dads character,and your relationship with him.
From the looks of it ,he did great things with his life.
