Well, it figures.  My MAP issues continue to stump even the experts so I may be pulling the ECU out shortly to ship to Big Stuff to have John Meaney's gang test it out.  Since the 100+ degree days are quickly approaching, I'm planning on tuning around the MAP issue so I can get it through emissions, get my AZ plates on it and do some longer shake down runs and get the basic combination worked out and I may throw the Powerdyne back on it just to see how it reacts to the boost.

The major oil leak seems to be fixed, but I did notice a little pinhole in the RTV at the front of the manifold bubbling a bit.  I think I'm going to have to redo the spacers eventually b/c it was still a larger gap than I liked near the ends and it took more Ultra Black than I would've prefered to close it up.  But at least I'm not pouring oil and smoke like it had been.   I hope to weld up that hole in the tunnel and throw the sound deadener and carpet (Thanks again to Dan Curtis for that contribution to the project!!!)  in this weekend, too, but I'm hoping my plug for the tremec's reverse switch comes in by the so I can finish wiring that in.  I'd prefer to do it from the top side so I've been dragging my feet on that part of the project.

If all goes well, I'll be cruising it around this weekend and probably hit the Scottsdale Pavilions Saturday in the early evening.

Wow, I just checked my calendar and realized that is just next week!  I don't have anything going on and since its practically my backyard, I should be able to make it out for at least one day.

Hey Dan,that reminds me.  Maybe I shouldn't weld that hole up just yet so you can get an easier peak at the tremec.  Wink  Off to the MVD to get some temp plates so I can drive it around (legally).

Dan,
It turns out I will be around tomorrow...maybe I can swing by in the afternoon if the rain actually comes as predicted.

Sounds good (well, I'd rather it rain during the week while I'm couped up in an office).  I think you have my number so when you're looking to head over, give me a buzz.  I just picked up my temp tags so I may be running around with it if the weather is behaving trying to tune it in for emissions.

Dan, If you get collector insurance rom someone like Hagerty you can get a waiver of emissions testing.  I have a bunch of cars under Hagerty and none of them require emissions testing.
