I did the same a few months ago. I could see one or two of these bumpers not being reproduced again in the future. It is easy to think that once something has been reproduced it will be here forever, but that is just not true.

I have to agree with the idea of getting a extra or one for a future project...In my other hobby, restoring antique jukeboxes, many reproduction appearance items have been made, but now that the supply of machines that need restoration has dried up, many of those items are gone and will not be made again...Although there is still a market, and a profit to be made, it wont come in a big wave of quick sales and fast profit...which tends to made some suppliers disinterested in continuing...Bob in Alabama
