I have a 66 rogue that I have been trying to find a rear axle for with no luck, I called strange up and they said they could build me one for about 2500, I'm thinking this might be over kill for a street/strip car. I also been throwing the idea of getting a 8.8 and reworking it for my rogue. Does anyone know anyone in Wisconsin that does custom axle work? Are there any other rear axle vendors that offer options

Just shafts or a complete diff? If just axles, call Dutchman.

I have been looking for an AMC 20 axle for my Rogue for about 4 years. I would say at this point that a Ford 8.8 is your best bet. Not only is it about the same ring gear diameter as the 20, but you get good disc brakes and its not hard to find one with a posi. There was a very good write up about making a 8.8 inch rear fit a Rogue a few months ago. Do a search or scan the trans / drive line page, I believe it was there. Good luck.
