Assuming it looks like the weather will be reasonable and the car is running as good as it usually does, I'm looking forward to some Canadian scenery with a stop at the RamblerRama. We intend to drive up from Mass. and see some good looking cars.

Great to hear! I talked to the northern ramblers club president about local attractions, there is the Blue heron casino,nearby, and the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough, also below is a link to the ontario attractions site, hope to see you in 2 weeks

take a look at driving over to Burlington VT . Across lake Champlain on the ferry and thru the Adirondack state park in NY. lake placid beautiful drive brings you out at Ogdensburg and a bridge to Canada and a easy drive to Port Perry

less than a week to the show! this saturday june 25th! and the weather forecast shows 26 degrees celsius (about 78 fahrenheit) and sunny!

I plan on attending (first timer). If driving from Ottawa, what's the best way to get there. Google Maps says Hwy 7 all the way; but with going through all the towns, would I be better off going down the 416 to the 401 and head back up from Oshawa / Whitby ?

# 7 a nice drive 60 miles shorter easier on the car but its your choice.
me I prefer any road other than the 401

I have always gone hwy 7/7A through Port Perry. There are a few towns you go through, but the slow downs are not too bad. I live just west of Kanata and it's about 3 1/2 hours one way for me. If you go 416/401 it will probably be about the same driving time, but much farther in distance.
