Found a J20 for sale and i think i want to make the seller an offer.

1981 with a 360 automatic  
It got some rust on the fender and a little hole in the floor  
Frame has No rust.

i think it would be worth it if its not rusty. Last J truck I looked at was a very rusty J10 that the guy wanted $7,000 for

The seller is asking about $5000 for the jeep

If it was me I’d start negotiating somewhere around $3700-$4000 if it looked good in person. The Automatic devalues it for me, but I‘m weird and everything I own is a stick. I‘d also ask if there was a tailgate because they‘re not the most common thing

$3500/$4000 would be worth it 
Frame looks nice from the pictures i Got. 
Still need to wait until june before i can travel down there to look at the jeep in person. 

I love my automatics.. LOL

My 82 has D44 rear. 2nd one I've owned, great tough trucks. The guy I bought it from
Replaced it with a gmc,  said the j10 would out  pull it all over the farm!
