What's up with Rollmaster timing chains.?
I've been looking for one and I can't seem to find one.
Anyone have any leads on where to purchase.? Most of the usual places are out of stock or sold out.
Amazon doesn't have any. Epay has one, but it's for a motor that has been line bored.
The same with Romac balancers. Can't find any of those either.
I've sent an email to them but haven't heard anything back yet.
Thanks..!

I got one about four or five weeks ago.   I think it came from Summit but I don't have any easy way to confirm that now.  Did not save a receipt.  Joe

Just do a Google search for one and then click on shopping. I search around the internet and find out who has the lowest prices. eBay's fee's have just about priced the sellers out of business. A lot of sellers can still sell what your after, but as demand has dropped for AMC parts in favor of newer engines they just don't put those parts in their ads or printed material.

I appreciate the response's, but there is nothing out there that I can find. I've tried to search with Bing and Google. Everywhere I look for one, it is unavailable or on back order.
Summit, Jegs, Speedway. Carid, eBay, Amazon, nothing. Big fat goose egg.

I always use Yahoo search... They ended Altavista mid last year, but still works fine. GOOGLE and DuckDuckGo don't search well enough, though an old tried and true search engine called dogpile works very well, if you don't mind having a combined effort search.

I emailed rollmaster and received an email saying that they have 20+ in stock. He said to call 616-247-6572 ask for MJ.

I like RollMaster but You need to inspect it. The one I purchased a year and half ago had an oil slinger groove cut right at the Distributor Oil feed passage. I had to braze it up.

I also read from another AMC site that Rollmaster Australia was contacted and was going to correct this.

No expert, but...
the size, number, and location of those 4 oil slinging grooves you may or may not want to "adjust"...
Have ya seen the youtube video with the cutaway timing cover
showing just how much oil hemorrhages out of those grooves ?

Yes mine was the same way, cut right on the Distributor feed at the 6 oclock position. As You can see, I brazed up all 4 slinger grooves but also note the small brass spots at the 5 oclock and 7 oclock position to block any bleed off from the Distributor oil supply passage.

In the second picture is the block side of the gear oil feed supply notch didn't line up with the Oil supply feed hole in my aftermarket Cam.

I did this while building the engine so I had the camshaft out. I installed the Gear, fuel pump eccentric, distributor gear and bolt with washer on the Cam.   While holding the Cam I sprayed Brake cleaning fluid in the Oil feed hole in #1 Cam Journal to confirm the fluid was flowing all the way to the Distributor gear without much loss.

I gonna send it back to them.
I shouldn't have to modify a brand new timing chain and gear set to work properly. That's stinks and is B.S.

This sort of stuff is par for the course, I had similar problems with a Milodon set, which I believe is made by SA Gear. Sadly it seems that this is just something you have to deal with in this day an age.

I've been waiting since late October for a Neutral Balance Dampener.  It was even sitting on the shelf, according to my supplier.  I paid for it and have been waiting since.  Time to call them directly.

The second picture, the gear has a 360 degree recess for the oil, the grinding you did was unnecessary.
