is the front frame on a 69 rambler american welded in or bolted like the chevy II's?

welded....but I wish they were bolted like a nova....

all AMCs are full unibodies, 'unit construction'. doors, hood, trunk lid, front fenders bolt on, the rest are welded one unit. there is no 'frame' at all though there are rails that look like/function like frame rails for the purpose of mounting things (x-members etc).

stiff and light and no squeaks. AMCs unibodies are just great.
