I got a 70 AMC Rebel SST wagon from New Philadelphia Ohio & guy told me car spent about all its life on Lake Tappan Ohio. Was just wondering was there a dealership in or around Lake Tappan Ohio in 1970? Just wondering were the car might have came from when new.

Tappan Lake isn't far from Dover and New Philadelphia. I think one or both cities had AMC dealerships but I don't recall their names.

Edit: It was possibly DOVER MOTOR CAR CO. 221 W. Second St. Dover, Ohio

"My family had an AMC dealership in Dover at the time, and I remember prepping this car for delivery," Bob said. "I remember specifically putting a turn signal flasher in it for the older couple that owned it later on."

An no way of finding out which dealership had the car when new without a build sheet?
