Anyone did this and remember what extra parts you needed?

I think I'm gonna put that cheetah valvebody in, but it wants a functioning kick down.
Been running a transgo mod with the kick down deleted (for 10 years mind you). It runs fine as is, but I'm curious about how the cheetah will compare.

I'm running a TF727 in my 69 AMX and I used the Lokar cable.

So far no issues and the trans is shifting and behaving as expected.

Lokar kit, no additional parts needed.  However, you'll need a hole somewhere on the carb that moves opposite the throttle (pulls on the trans cable).  Since the factory linkage usually pushes back you'll need to orient whatever you've got to pull the Lokar cable.

Cheetah does make a normal auto shifting VB that I'm using in my 904. You can also shift manually and hold what you picked.  Love it.  Very sensitive to the kickdown tension, though.  It's easy to get it shifting really really hard, which I couldn't take for very long.  Fortunately, the Lokar linkage was dead simple to fix that.  I did the internals very strong during the rebuild, too, knowing it was going to get beat around more.

I've since switched to MPFI, and swapped out the Lokar to a factory YJ or something linkage, which simply does not work as well as the Lokar did for adjustability (geometry is off).  So, planning to switch back.
