RIP Vic Jr. I met him years ago at Super Summit, he signed a hat for me that I still have.

Over 20 years ago, I wrote a letter, yes, actual written words on paper, in an envelope, with a stamp, and entrusted the USPO, for about $.20, to deliver it to Mr. Edelbrock. I was  asking about the possibility of the AMC valve covers being reissued. To my surprise, several weeks later, I got a response, a  handwritten letter from Mr. Edelbrock, saying, in effect, thank you for your interest but not at this time. He actually took a few minutes of his time and wrote me back! I was told later that he hated email/electronic communication in general, and would, if he could, respond to "real" mail. No, sorry, don't have that letter anymore.
Today, Edelbrock has arguably more AMC parts available than any other company.
Thank you, sir, you will be missed, RIP.   gz
