Will it be much trouble to swap out the entire dash on a 73 hornet with a 77 gremlin . I already have the steering column out. ?????? The dashes look  the same.

The dashes are the same,  except the Gremlin used a 2 gauge cluster,  and the Hornet had 3 gauges.

Hard to remove compared with what?
Removing the dash in any car is a pita,  just some are harder than others.

Not a bit of trouble. Just got the gremlin dash out in about an hour. Easy cars to work on.

How did your dash swap go. I thought that the 1977 Gremlin had the different dash set up. Like the spirits, concord, eagle dashes. I've looked at them and they do look to be a easy change. I do like the look of both.

Body styling changed for '77, but dash remained the same. In '78 the dash was updated to the new Concord style.

Correct, easiest way to tell a '77 Gremlin from a '78.
