I need a spindle for a 78 Concord front disc brake. My bearings bit the dust without any warning, and welded themselves to the spindle.

My question is, what spindles are equivalent, if any? I know that, in general, there were only two sizes of AMC spindles. However, I'm a little suspicious that this spindle may be an even bigger one that was generally only found on particularly big AMCs for a few years in the 70s. I'm not sure, and I can take measurements if anyone thinks they'd be able to confirm or deny my suspicions based on the measurements.

There are guys that will no exactly but I do know that the disc brakes from 75 to 78 were the same and they changed in 79. It's the 79 up that most people swap to since much of the older stuff is getting pretty hard to find.

1977-78-spindle is the same......what makes it different is the bearing size. 1979-1981 is the same but bearing size.calipers, brake parts etc are the same but bearings....1977-78.
