I'm doing some further detailing of 401jim's Plain Vanilla 1970 Hornet. My 12/70 SC360 did not have a painted axle, but it was a model 20 as well. It has the red center section and natural tubes. My 10/70gremlin was the same way. ------------- AMO Newsletter Editor |

So maybe the 10-bolt axles were still being painted into early 1970?
