Sorry this has probably been covered but I can't find my exact answer. I want to run 235x60x15 tires on 15x7 wheels all four corners. Will 4.25 back spacing be fine? Any problems with this wheel and tire combination on a non lowered stock suspension? Thanks ------------- Dave |

| For a 235 on a 7" wheel, you will be more than safe. That said it is more back space than needed. 3-1/4" would put the tire farther out but still tuck in nicely. |

The only thing I would worry with a tire that tall if it will hit the front & back openings of the wheel openings.
I say this becasue my 70 Javelin had 245/60/14 that is 25.6 dia. and someone trimed the front fenders to clear. They where on 6" 0 off set and stock wheel spacers to clear the disc calipers up front.
The 235/60/15 tire you want to run is 26.1 dia. so you are pushing the size for the rear wheel opening at the rocker. I know my 28" slicks would not fit with out trimming the opening.

For me I am going to stick to a 25 dia tire (235/60/14) to start with and go from there.
Or a 225/45/17 or 235/45/17 tire but would need to get wheels too so????????
