Cool link. My 70 AMX came from Colonial Heights Motors in Yonkers N.Y. Anyone have info on it?

They have a SSAMX that they raced in the 70's, it's on display at the dealership

Wow! I was a policeman there. I love the photo of the opening day. Look across the street. That is presently Roosevelt Field: one of the first Malls in America. It is where Lindberg took off for France in 1927. It is massive. Smart location for a dealership. My uncle bought a 1961 Classic there as did my grandmother a 1962 American. The old Fortunoffs was right across the street(Old Country Rd). Within 2 years the mall was mostly erected and the empty field was occupied. I resided in Flushing, up the street from the small  Rambler dealership of Highland Motors on Northern Blvd. It's now a  restaurant. Thanks for the photos/post.

The SS is sweet it`s a shame they don`t have it roped off a little better..you can see all the hand prints all over the nose of the car...
