Here is my Jeep. It is a 1966 cj5 chassis with a cj3b steel body. It has the Dauntless V6, balanced, cam, 4bbl., headers, 350th, original two handle transfer case, full roll cage.  I have had it for 30 years and several rebuilds.

My jeeps have never been very shiney

Here is a old CJ I used to have. It had a 431CI stroked 401, th400, dana 20 and rockwell axles. I ended up selling it with a AMC 360 however

Here is my little ZJ. It started out stock and we installed a 6" Airock kit and some 33's

Later we added Unimog axles and 40" MTRS. I have a set of 44" TSLs on beadlocks for it and it will be getting a exo cage

I have owned over 100 jeeps personally and the majority were owned before I got a digital camera...I will have to track down some old photos and post them. Some wild creations..LOL

Here's my second car. A '55 Wyllis. I bought it as a parts truck, lots of rust. I was trying to buy my Grandpa's '55 Wyllis at the time. Grandma sold it to my uncle and now my dad has it. So maybe someday...Sold it to Darian Auto Parts in Darian, NY. Don't know if the still have it. She was pretty rough. The second picture has my freind Steve in it.

This is my current slow build I call project Wild Indian. It's a 1987 Jeep Comanche that used to be a 2.5 4 banger, 4 speed, 2wd. I didn't like the power of the 4 cylinders of fury so I pulled it out and dropped in a 1971 (I think) Jeep 360/TH400/dana 20 combo. I thought it was close to being finished, but every time I get close something comes up.

This is a before pic.

And of course an after pic.

It doesn't look quite the same since I've added the aluminum Afco radiator and hood scoop. When I get a better pic I'll post it up. Cool

We picked up this 1976 Jeep J10 pickup truck just over a month ago. Absolutely rust-free (other than surface rust), 258 six, Quadratrack was replaced with standard type transfer case and manual locking front hubs, pretty much dent free too, except for the driver's side front fender. Looks like someone was backing up with the door open and it caught something, resulting in the fender dent (I've done that before!). Another local J10 owner has some 33 inch tires for sale that I might buy and put on (he's moving up to 35s). A slight lift might also be nice!

HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER
It was a beautiful day today (October 31st, 2008) in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area, my arthritis wasn't bugging me today like the last two days, so so I went on a drive to look for vintage tin.

Well, unfortunately, I didn't find any really old vintage tin, except an Opel GT, a Falcon Econoline window van, and what looked liked the bottom of a vintage auto carrier. Maybe next time!

Here is the '99 Classic we just bought for my wife to drive. It's pretty well loaded including the optional skid plates and tow hooks. My 2000 Cherokee Sport has run perfectly for the 2.5 years I've owned it which is why we decided to get a second XJ. However when we got into the 2000 Jeep to go pick up the new one it wouldn't start! Must have been jealous.

I have Pics of a very unusual "Jeep" that I just closed the deal on yesterday. It is a one off Custom Build Aluminum Body Altered. I don't have enough posts to add pics to message.
If anybody would like to see it & maybe post Pics for me, send a PM & I will forward them.
Trust me, it is worth looking at!

We have two in the family - the '72 Wagoneer resting quietly at my fathers, awaiting rebirth (still runs - just doesn't get out much), and our DD, a '93 Grand Cherokee with almost 200,000 miles on it.

Here are pics of both.

OK finally found some of my old girl. Obviously these are digital copies I made from photos back in the day. Definitely not the best, but you get the idea. Terrible story associated with her departure from my life. I'll always miss her! Always stayed pampered and way too clean though for any true 4x4.

I sold my 80 cherokee chief....Unhappy

But my friend who bought it let me have this....Big smile

Its a 81 wagoneer limited. original 258/auto which we swapped a t-176 4-speed into a few years back. Has no engine but i plan to run a carbed 4.0 that i have.  Found mint seats out of a 88 grand wagoneer for it. It has a full 3" lift system on it. And it has all the patch panels to fix the rust along with new front fenders inside it. Some patch work and a cheap paint job and it will be a nice driver.

adrenaline rush, great looking Jeep! It's nice to see that something that can look like a clean show vehicle in one picture and be flinging mud in the next. Just lose the truck balls, it having balls is inferred by those tires it's turning Tongue

xtm10, the black tires on black wheels look good on that thing.

Thanks ! it's a cell phone pic so it's not really that good, the tires are in very good shape, and the rims are like new ! runs very well, no smoke, the choke works correctly, came with a front reciever hittch and a front bumper mounted tow bar ( not that it will ever need it, it's a CJ ! ) all for $800. I thought it was a great deal, and more importantly so did the g/f.

Nah, I didn't buy 'em for the mileage, I like the full time 4 wheel drive. I actually traded away a Milemarker converted case from a parts rig for a full time case a few years back.
The QT is fine for the HP/weight of these things and I have the rock rash to prove it.Cool

I'm keeping my fingers crossed a family relic might be coming to me. one of my first memories, I was probably about 4 or so my father purchased a '77 J-10 from an older fellow. I grew up riding in it breaking snow drifts in the winter time and then learned to drive in it as it was a 258, 3 speed truck I fell in love with manuals ever since. My older brother bought it from my father about 7 years ago, and began to fix it up. He swapped in a SBC, ditched the ragged bench seat for a pair of buckets out of an older Torino, put a stereo in it, as well as a 4" Big Dick's Suspension lift. He painted it sunset yellow and unfortunately has been collecting dust and rust for the last 5 years, hadn't been driven in 3. It sadley sits behind my brothers house now with the bed rotted through, the floorboards all but gone, and a beat to hell windshield thanks to the last hail storm. After it being in the family for 21 years it kills me to see it in such condition.

On the brighter side it does still run and hold 80lbs of oil pressure, it needs a gas tank, fuel lines, and windshield, not to mention a set of new tires wouldn't hurt thanks to dry rot. I'll try to get some pictures posted of the poor thing as she sits, and hopefully I'll get her into the hands of the youngest family member who is and AMC/Jeep addict and sees what she really can be. Then maybe, just maybe however many years down the road I can pass it on as well.

Edit: I bought her from my brother paying it off next week so I can start working on her.

And here is a recent photo of my Spirit all cleaned up, next spring she's due for her 360 swap. and one more thing just to show my love for the rest of you AMC and Jeep guys I got this last friday.
