I just received an upper grill support or my Javelin, and I'm having some issues with the fitment. The support itself looks nice and straight, but when putting in place, the center mount coming from the hood latch support is noticeably higher than the mounting surfaces on the fenders. The front valance looks a little beat up and has seen better days, so I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it.

If you look at the mounting point on passenger side fender, you can see how raised it is when the support is resting on the other side. 

Any thoughts?
