Not trying to be offensive, but the TSM has all the information on this. I don't know why your removing the brake pedal but re-installation should be as per the TSM.
Before it goes, it has to be able to stop!
Your first purchase should be the TSM. An invaluable investment in owning a classic vehicle.
My opinion.

The TSM doesn't address removal of the the brake pedal.
The OEM pedal pad unbolts from the base plate. To remove the whole arm and pivot you need to remove the pivot shaft at the very top of the brake pedal arm. I believe this shaft is secured by a bolt that goes into the steering column mounting structure from the side closest to the transmission hump. Of course you need to disconnect the linkage going to the master cylinder/ brake booster too.

maybe I should have prefaced my question with the statement that I have two tsms and yes it does not show what I want to know. to take the whole bracket off there are two square nuts holding it on. are these welded to the bracket or will they turn off? I want the whole pedal assembly out. why just because. it looks as these two screws also hold on the master cylinder. they look like they go through the firewall with threads on both ends.

don’t take the brake pedal out. It’s a bad idea. Don't let us stop you...

To get it out easiest, you need to remove the dash and steering column.  Big job.
