will classic glass interchange with American glass? have a 64 American wagon that's had the lh glass busted out of it... have the lh rear glass located and was wondering if classic wagon tailgate and door glass fits an American...

The 64-69 American, and 63-66 Classic and Ambassador, 4 drs use the same glass.

Station wagons, the gate glass is the same on 64-69 Americans and 63-65 Classic and Ambassador bottom hinged tailgates only.

They made some change on the 66 Classic and Ambassador tailgate glass that will not interchange with the other years.
