i have a '64 ameri that has a column shift 3-speed.  i am going to put a T-14 with a floor shifter on int. ideally, i'd like to not have the column provision for the shifter (yes, i can grind it and fill it, but i'd like to keep all my original parts).

i'd like to find an entirely different column from a stick car (or maybe just the collar?).  i understand that this may not be that common for a '64 or '65 ameri.

my question is...what other columns would work...'66-'69 ameri?  late classic?  hornet?  or only '64-'65 ameri?

thanks in advance.

I cant give a list of what will work but 70 and newer has the ignition switch on the column and are different.
