Scott, the builder, and myself has had some discussion and other than a couple small things they should be good.
These things should be plenty rigid.
Can't wait to see the lowers.

Fellas -

Here are the details from the guy who is manufacturing these.  If you're interested, look for a post in the classifieds soon:

Option one, bare. Raw steel. Provide your own heim joints, hardware and spacers.  385$ shipped in cont. US.

Option 2, complete.  Painted control arms (powdercoat available for extra).  Chromoly heim joints, lock nuts, stainless spacers and machine shim washers.  485$ shipped in cont. US.

I would like to get a minimum order of 5 (sets) for the first run.

Once we get 5 sets ordered I'll need a 50% deposit. 3 -4 week fabrication lead time. Remaining 50% due after fabrication before shipping.

I posted an ad in the classifieds for those who are interested in ordering UCA's.  Fabricator would rather do these in batches, so if you want some please check out the ad and place your order.

Thanks,

Scott

I may have missed it in the thread, but it appears you would have to remove the springs and remove the arms to make any adjustments and then reassemble and put it back on the alignment machine and hope your adjustments are correct. Seems like there may be a lot of work in dialing in the alignment. Maybe the adjustment should have been made where the balljoint mounts so disassembly isn't necessary.

You would have to unbolt the arms where they attach to the inner shock tower and then make your adjustments.  Don't need to remove the control arm or mess with the ball joint.

Thanks

That's nice!! I really like the idea of them being adjustable to get more caster gain. The price is right too!

Affco makes a nice coil-over shock that could be used with this setup too. Personally I don't think I would use the stock coil mount on top of the arm though.

Dennis -

Do you have a model # on the Afco shock?

I have them on the front of my AMX so I'll take a look for the part number in my file. The Afco shocks and QA1 springs use to come with the Control Freaks coil-over kit until they went to the Viking stuff. I have always liked Afco shocks on my dirt track cars, and on my AMX they work awesome IMO.
